Batteries in those units live a real tough life. Also is your belt good and tight? It's most likely a drain in the motor homes wiring and not just the engine. You can test circuits yourself but it is time consuming. Unhook the battery and rehook it. Do this in the dark and if the positve cable sparks when you attach it something is on and drawing current. To find out which circuit it is unhook battery and then remove ONE circuit's fuse and reattach positive cable. If it still sparks it's a different circuit. Don't put THAT fuse back in but remove another one until you get no sparks. Now starting with the FIRST fuse you removed put it back in and do the process all over again. Told you it was time consuming but it's a start. Or you could pay an auto electrical shop to find the problem for you. Dodge . How to Install a Rear Shock AbsorberAs a vehicle travels down a roadway, it often encounters road surfaces that are less than smooth, such as potholes and breaks in the pavement. Shock absorbers reduce the impact of these surfaces on the occupants of the vehicle. The ability of a shock absorber to reduce this impact diminishes over time, and so it must be periodically replaced. Replacing the old shock absorbers is fairly simple, but it is important to change both rear shock absorbers as a pair, rather than one at a time, to ensure that the rear suspension remains in alignment. Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions Things You'll Need Jack Jack stands Wrench Step by Step : 1 Raise the vehicle with a jack, then lower it onto two jack stands located underneath the vehicle's frame. 2 Access the shock absorbers from underneath the rear of the vehicle, then disconnect the bottom of both shock absorbers from the vehicle's lower mounting bracket. The bottom of each shock absorber features a threaded rod, which slides through the vehicle's lower mounting bracket and is secured in place with a single nut. Remove the nut on the end of each shock absorber with a wrench to access the shock absorber's rubber bushing and inner washer. Slide the bushing and washer off of the threaded tip of the shock absorber. 3 Disconnect the tops of the shock absorbers from the upper mounting brackets. The location where the tops of the shock absorbers mount varies by vehicle. The tops of the shock absorbers are typically inside the luggage compartment. On some older vehicles they are located underneath the rear seat, necessitating its removal. Remove each shock absorber's nut, followed by its rubber bushing and inner washer. 4 Access the shock absorbers from underneath the vehicle, then grasp the upper half of one of the shock absorbers. Pull the upper half down toward the lower half. The shock absorber will compress. Once the threaded rod at the top of the shock absorber is free of the upper mounting bracket, lift the bottom of the shock absorber out of the lower mounting bracket. Repeat the process with the remaining shock absorber. 5 Compress the new shock absorbers and insert the threaded rods on either end of the shock absorbers into their lower mounting brackets. Slide the new rubber bushings and inner washers over the threaded rods, followed by the shock absorbers' nuts. Tighten the nuts with a wrench. 6 Pull the upper half of each shock absorber towards the upper mounting bracket. Guide the threaded rods at the top of the shock absorbers through the holes in their upper mounting brackets, then install the new inner washers and rubber bushings, followed by the nuts. 7 Lift the vehicle with the jack and remove the jack stands, then lower the vehicle to the ground to complete the replacement.

Push down on the bumper or fender on one corner of the car. Stand back and allow the body to rise back up. If the body bounces more than once, the shock absorber on that corner of the car may be worn. Repeat this procedure for the other three corners of the car to check the other shocks. 3 Crawl under the vehicle and visually inspect the shock absorbers for leaking oil. Check the shock mounting brackets and bolts to ensure that they are not loose or broken. Check for excessive corrosion or deformation in the shock body, which would warrant replacement of the shocks. 4 Check the tread on the tires for patchy wear or worn spots, which would indicate the wheel is not staying in complete contact with the road over bumps because of worn shocks. 5 Have the shock absorbers tested by your auto mechanic using a dynamometric test machine. Have the shocks replaced if they fail the test. Tips & Warnings If you need to raise the vehicle to gain access to the undercarriage, insert jack stands under each corner of the vehicle. Do not work under a vehicle that is supported only by a jack. Never replace just a single shock absorber. This could cause adverse handling of the vehicle. Shock absorbers should be replaced as a complete set or in pairs over the front or rear axles of the car.
